HUSH: An Intimate Poetry Open Mic Experience
Time & Location
About the Event
What’s up family?
We hope you are doing well through the craziness of this year and that you’re still finding beautiful moments to celebrate and enjoy.
For us, we’ve been working on launching 4 NEW CALENDAR EXPERIENCES starting in October - including HUSH.
HUSH is our new intimate poetry open mic experience featured on first Sundays at 6:00 PM. With the world in a much different place, we didn’t want to do something the same, and in some ways, like the amount of attendees we could have, can’t keep the same.
With that said, due to the CDC guidelines, we will be selling only 25 tickets. 12 of which will be for performers and the remaining 13 tickets will be for those who will not be performing. This will help ensure all tickets aren’t sold to people who aren’t looking to perform… that would be awkward. For those purchasing the tickets for performers, that counts as your signup.
This intimate experience will be held at the beautiful and soothing Sol Garden Studio, right off 11th and Callowhill.
Note: If you do not feel comfortable being in an event space just yet or maybe you aren't in the area, we have you covered. On our Facebook page, facebook.com/voicesinpower, you can purchase a ticket to watch LIVE for only $4.99. Tickets to watch LIVE are also limited so act fast.
The studio is small so please do not purchase a ticket if you aren’t feeling well or feel uncomfortable. Masks are required for everyone’s safety. We will have some masks available, just in case. Sanitizer will be available. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at email@example.com.
Note: This studio, to add to the vibe of the space and the experience, is a seated on the floor event. We have 15 floor pillows for seating, so if you have any you can bring for yourself, please do. Please be assured all floor pillows will be sprayed with disinfectant.
Oh, and our theme will be Silencing Fears (hence the experience being called HUSH). We will explain more in person. And although this experience isn’t able to have our usual couple hundred people, it will feel just as special, just as inspiring, just as family.
